This picture was taken just prior to the removal of; tar, paint, felt tip pen, grim and organic growth by Robin Riley (Sculptor), it shows clearly; the outline of the original brass Child's Head water spout (probably the remains a putty filler used in 1858), two holes that where used to secure the brass water spout and the copper threaded water pipe that dispensed the water.
