Athenaeum 

·       Location: Church Alley off Church Street

·       Found in 1797, this Club and Library is over two hundred years old

·       This building was erected in 1928

·       It has 500 members which are known as Proprietors (full members) – ladies and gentlemen

·       In addition there may be up to 500 Associate Members

·       The keystone head of Athena above the door is said to be by Tyson Smith
